This weekend, Dakoda Armstrong will compete in NASCAR's backyard at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The team showed great strength at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS), a track that shares similar traits and setups. The No. 43 WinField team will open up the notebook from TMS to build a fast setup for this weekend. Currently, Armstrong sits 16th in the XFINITY Series Championship Point Standings.
Armstrong has five prior starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway between the XFINITY, Truck and ARCA Racing Series. He has a pair of 19th place finishes at the track in 2014.

"The real strength of our program this year has been the one and a half mile tracks. We were really strong in Texas. We've been wanting to get back to that style track ever since then. Charlotte is a great track. Depending on your driving style, you can setup your car to run high or low and still have good speed. We know this race will have several long, green-flag runs. Tires are definitely a factor here. Good handling and tire management over those long periods are crucial to running up front. Fortunately, we managed to do that in Texas, and we know we'll do that in Charlotte, too. Our Texas notebook will transfer well to our Charlotte setup. I feel pretty confident that we'll run well this weekend."
