Armstrong at Daytona International Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Daytona International Speedway to go along with two starts in the Camping World Truck Series at the track.

Armstrong has one top-10 finish in XFINITY Series competition which was a sixth place finish in last years event.

Dakoda also has one career pole at Daytona International Speedway to his credit which came in the July 4th event during the 2014 season.

Dakoda finished 14th at Daytona earlier this year in his No. 28 Winfield Toyota.

Dakoda's Thoughts on Daytona International Speedway:
"Daytona has been both good and bad to me over the last few years.  I normally love superspeedway racing so this is a great chance for us to continue with a little momentum that we have coming out of Iowa two weeks ago."

"I think I have developed a pretty good feel for restrictor plate racing over the last few years and hopefully we can capitalize on that.  We had a decent run here back in February and the guys on this JGL Racing team have worked hard at making the car even better since then. If we can keep our nose clean and stay in the lead pack then we have a good chance at an even better finish."

What Off Week?:
While most of the NASCAR XFINITY Series was enjoying a nice weekend off before heading into a long summer stretch, Dakoda was spending his weekend returning to his racing roots.  He piloted the No. 15 Toyota in the ARCA Racing Series event at Winchester Speedway - close to his family home in New Castle, Indiana.  Armstrong would battle through the 200 lap event on his way to a ninth place finish in his return to the series.
