Armstrong at Watkins Glen International:

Dakoda will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Watkins Glen International. He has finishes of 25th and 23rd in his previous two starts at the upstate New York track.

Dakoda's Thoughts on Watkins Glen International:

"This is the first road course of the year for us so getting back into the road racing groove always takes me a few laps.  But with the repave at The Glen we get plenty of practice time on Thursday and Friday so that should really help with figuring out the new braking and lift points at the track."

"The key for me with these road courses is to stay on track and run our race and come home with a good finish.  All of us at JGL Racing have a little momentum going right now and I look forward to continuing with that this weekend."

Iowa Rewind:
In a one race program, Dakoda was given the opportunity to drive the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing.  The New Castle, Indiana didn't disappoint as he qualified third and steered the No. 18 Toyota to an XFINITY Series career best fifth place finish.

"We were in fuel saving mode there a little bit at the end, but we were able to get around the No. 2 there at the end for a top five. I've got to thank God for just being here and thank Matt Tifft for this opportunity and everyone from Joe Gibbs Racing. I kind of struggled there through the middle - lost a lot of track position - but there at the end the car just kind of came to life. If we would have done a better job of holding on to track position, we would have had a shot at an even better finish. Still a good finish, but I was really happy to be here. Just thought we had a little bit more out there at the end, so still good - just a little disappointed. All good. We had fun."
