Armstrong's First Time Racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway: Dakoda Armstrong has been to Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) before, but this will be his first time that he will be there from behind the wheel. Last year, Armstrong's No. 98 EverFi Toyota Tundra team participated in the race with another driver, Justin Marks, and Armstrong watched from the hauler to learn what he could about AMS.

"When I was watching the truck race last year Inoticed that Atlanta has a lot of lines that can be run. The biggest thing is that the track wears the tires out really fast so it will be important to have a good handling truck."

Armstrong hopes with the notes and the knowledge his team gained from their previous experience at AMS, that they will be able to have a strong finish in the Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 200. Armstrong also knows a vetren driver that really likes Atlanta Motor Speedway, and that driver happens to be his ThorSport teammate, Matt Crafton.

"Matt and Johnny are great vetren teammates to have, and since Matt seems to really like Atlanta, I hope that we will be able to feed off of what he has to say to get our truck better. I know that my team and I were really disappointed about the bleeder falling off at Bristol, and we never really got a chance to race hard because we were so many laps down. I hope that we can have a solid top 10 finish at Atlanta to make up to what happened last week."

The Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 200 is set to be a one day event for the Nascar Camping World Truck Series competitors and teams. The day starts off with two practices. The first practice is from 10-11:00 am EST, and the second and final practice will take place from 11:30-1:00 pm EST. Next, the qualifying for the race event will start at 4:35 pm EST. SPEED will begin airing the driver introductions at 7:35 pm EST followed by the Jeff Foxworthy's Grit Chips 200 set to begin at 8:00 pm EST.

A Look Back at Bristol: Armstrong and his EverFi team had a disappointing night for Armstrong's debut at Bristol Motor Speedway. Early in the race, Armstrong came on the radio saying that he no longer had any brakes. As they pulled the truck behind the wall they noticed that the bleeder had fallen off, and this repair would put the team 35 laps down. Armstrong was able to finish the race, and he brought the truck across the finish line in the 30th position.

"It was a really disappointing night for me and my team. My guys worked hard to repair the truck, and I am glad that we were able to finish the race. I think we had a really good truck, and I wish we would have had the opportunity to race against the guys on the lead lap. In practice we ran our fastest times on 60 lap tires, and with the way the green flag racing went at Bristol I really think we could have been a top 10 contender. I hope that we can have a good run at Atlanta so we can make up for the Bristol race."

Chassis History: Dan Stillman and the No. 98 ThorSport Racing team have prepared chassis No. 45 for this weekend's events at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The team has previously prepared this chassis for Pocono and Michigan, with Michigan being the highest place finish the team has had with a 3rd.
