Dakoda ran most of the practice in the top 10, but his truck was just too tight when mock qualifying. By the time qualifying came around the story was the same. Dakoda qualified p28 for the race tomorrow, but he thinks they are way better than that. "We are going to just have to race our way up to the front. It's going to be fun" - PR

Dakoda suffered a DNF at Kentucky Speedway this weekend in the #4 Mudd Advertising/DriveForSavings.com Chevy Silverado, due to engine problems. He started noticing a problem with the engine in the first practice session and it persisted throughout the day until the engine lost a cylinder at the start of the race and ended his night early.

Dakoda announced yesterday that he won't be racing anymore with ThorSport this year. He just couldn't get a sponsor to commit to all 8 of the remaining races. He's currently in the process of searching for the best option for himself as a driver to continue with his career. Right now, that's his main focus so he can get back to the track and in the hunt to win races. He would like to thank Dan Stillman and all his guys for all their hard work this year, and he would also like to thank Duke and Rhonda Thorson for giving him the opportunity to run in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Dakoda qualified 18th on Wednesday at Bristol and brought the #98 EverFi Toyota Tundra home in 30th after losing brakes and losing several laps while undergoing repairs for a loose bleeder in the front left brake caliper.
